Padmini Ekadashi — the rarest and most auspicious of all 24 Ekadashis — occurs only once every three years during the Adhika Masa (leap month), making it the most sacred Vaishnava observance in the lunar calendar. The Padma Purana (Uttara Khanda) contains the Mahatmya (glorification) of Padmini Ekadashi, narrated by Lord Krishna himself to Yudhishthira: "O Dharmaraja, all the merits accumulated by giving away a thousand cows, or performing the Ashwamedha Yajna a hundred times, are contained within the single observance of Padmini Ekadashi. This Ekadashi, observed by fasting and worshipping Padmanabha (Vishnu resting on the cosmic lotus), purifies the sins of one hundred thousand births." This bracelet is consecrated specifically on Padmini Ekadashi — an event that occurs only 33 times in a century — making it among the rarest consecration tithis in the ShriAAUM calendar.
The Vishnu Purana (Amsha 3, Chapter 11) describes the significance of Ekadashi in Vishnu's own words: "All the sins accumulated across all previous lives reside in food on the Ekadashi day; whoever fasts on Ekadashi breaks the cycle of these accumulated sins." The bracelet carries the complete merit field of this rare tithi through its Prana-Pratishtha, distributing Vishnu's supreme grace to the wearer continuously. The lotus-pink Rose Quartz mirrors the Padma (lotus) in Vishnu's hand and Lakshmi's throne — the symbol of purity, beauty, and divine grace emerging unstained from the waters of worldly existence. Pearl chips carry Vishnu's association with the ocean (He rests on the cosmic serpent in the milky ocean — Kshira Sagara) and with Lakshmi who emerged from that same ocean at creation.
